When you feel like you have nothing left to say, do you truly have nothing left to say, or do you just have so much to say that it has to be left unsaid?
I think that when you feel this way, it has nothing to do with whether or not you have anything left to say, and more to do with whether the other party is listening to you at all. What is there to say really to someone who doesn't want to listen?

Sometimes there's nothing wrong with having nothing to say. It reminds me of an evening I had with an ex several years ago.
We were both sitting on oppostie ends of the couch with our legs overlapping in the middle. We sat there for at least an hour without saying a word to each other.
I silently beat myself up for not having anything to say to her. Months later, I told her how I felt that night.
Her reply?
"I remember that night and it was one of my favorite nights together! We just sat and enjoyed each other's company. It was awesome."
